The Vladimir Salnikov Cup has been included in the official World Aquatics calendar. Scheduled to start on December 19, 2025, in St. Petersburg, this prestigious event will allow participants to qualify for the 2026 World Championships (25 meters).
The return of its international status not only enhances the competition's prestige but also enables Russian athletes to secure their spots at the World Championships based on their performances at the Cup.
